Step 1: Contact Your School Counselor or Administrative Office

They can answer questions like:

• • Does a ski club already exist?
  • What forms are required to start a new club, and when are they due?
  • What is the minimum number of students required to start a club, and do they need to complete a permission form to participate?
  • When is Club Rush or the student club recruiting period?
  • Are there any other district-specific requirements?

Step 2: Recruit Interested Students

Invite friends and classmates who want to take their skiing to the next level and have fun while doing so.

Step 3: Find a Faculty Advisor

Most schools require a teacher or staff member to serve as the club advisor.

Step 4: Submit Your School’s Club Application

Complete any required paperwork and receive approval through your school’s administration.

Step 5: Register with the Utah High School Ski Racing League

Once your club is approved, contact utahskiracing@gmail.com to register and begin preparing for the ski season.
