Frequently asked questions:

Do I need to know how to race?

Nope! We will have a training course up from 4:00 to 5:00 with coaches at the top and bottom to help you learn the basics.

A helmet is required. Sharp skis are recommended.

Yes! Bring everyone!

At Sundance: The race hill is above the base of Jake’s lift, so it is a hike. The parking lot will serve as check-in, awards, etc.

There are discounted spectator lift tickets available!

Go to AdminSkiRacing.com. Create an account if you don’t already have one. Find our event. Sign waivers. Pay $50. We will send you additional information about the race via email.

Can I race in this High School League even though I race in US SKi and Snowboard Races?

Yes! And bring your friends! We will have two classes this first season: Varsity and Jr. Varsity.

Varsity Class will be for those who have experience racing in the US Ski and Snowboard Intermountain Division.

Jr. Varsity Class will be for those who do not have US Ski and Snowboard racing experience, or who have never raced before.

We will have awards 1-3 for both men and women, and both Varsity and Jr. Varsity.

We will add the athlete’s times from run 1 and run 2. If you miss a gate or fall, you will be disqualified. Everyone gets 2 runs. Come for the training course and coaching opportunity before the race.

The registration fee is $50 this season. This will cover basic race expenses and league expenses. We are fortunate for the gracious donations we have received from volunteers for their time to put together our inaugural events.

We don’t know! We have a cap of 150, so don’t delay, register today!
